HIGH BANK WINS 5 DOUBLE GOLD AWARDS AT THE SAN FRANCISCO WORLD SPIRITS COMPETITION
COLUMBUS, OH — The San Francisco World Spirits Competition is known as one of the most influential and respected spirits competition in the world, judging spirits across 31 different categories. It is the 2nd oldest and largest spirits competition in the world, including over 5,000 entries across the world, and is considered the "industry standard" of what's what in alcoholic beverages. In 2021, High Bank won Best Blended Whiskey in America for Whiskey War Barrel Proof and is still in the running for 2022. Best In Class awards over the 31 categories will not be announced until June.
The SFWSC judging process consisted of 70 judges. These industry professionals try hundreds of spirits per category. If a spirit receives a high score, it is awarded a gold. These winning spirits are tasted again. If a spirit is receives multiple high scores it is then awarded a double gold.
This year, we are excited to report that High Bank won 7 awards, 5 of them being double golds.

We are blown away by the sheer number of spirits that won awards, especially the fact that 5 of the 7 spirits we submitted received Double Gold.
Last year we won Best Blended Whiskey in America for Whiskey War Barrel Proof and we still have a chance to repeat in 2022, which just blows my mind. When submitting our spirits this year, we wanted to send the best of the best. We submitted a Whiskey War Barrel Select product, our Double Double Oaked. This is my favorite spirit we have created to date. It sold out in 2 minutes when it was released last fall.
Our special release products that were submitted, Double Oaked and Midnight Cask Barrel Proof, both sold out within several hours. Our customers are huge fans of our products and it is amazing to see our spirits be recognized at a national level as well.
High Bank Vodka also won a double gold which was amazing to see. Our goal with all of our spirits is to have an uncompromised approach, while still keeping the price point approachable. Now, you can enjoy a Double Gold Vodka that costs less than $19.

It has always been a goal to be one of the best distilleries in Ohio, and to be recognized on a national level is beyond our expectations.
